To create a golden generation, it is necessary to have a good and supportive education program both academically and in terms of facilities provided. In Indonesia, one of the ongoing education programs is scholarships such as Bidik Misi, which naturally garners high interest. This is of particular concern to Interskala Group, one of the diversified business conglomerates, to play a role in educational programs by providing facilities that will significantly support positive activities for female students who receive these scholarships.On September 16, 2023, Interskala Group inaugurated the opening of Interskala Women's Dormitory located at Gg. Anggrek 2, Jalan Bodrek No. 19, Maguwo, Maguwoharjo, District of Depok, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, managed by Ms. Aniek Andayani as the Dormitory Chairwoman in collaboration with Atma Jaya University. The inauguration of Interskala Women's Dormitory began with a mass led by Father Yohanes Riyanto, followed by the cutting of the 'tumpeng' (cone-shaped rice dish) and ribbon cutting as a symbolic gesture of the dormitory's inauguration.
Director of PT Interskala, Ang Him Him, or affectionately known as Pak Jimmy, expressed gratitude to God for realizing the establishment of Interskala Women's Dormitory. He hopes that the daughters of Interskala not only excel academically but also grow into individuals with good character and contribute positively to society. The Rector of UAJY, Dr. G. Sri Nurhartanto, S.H., LL.M, also attended and appreciated the inauguration of Interskala Women's Dormitory. 'Indonesia needs young generations like you in the future. You all need to be prepared to become confident young individuals, embracing the future, with a nationalist spirit, and high integrity because UAJY emphasizes 4 principles: excellence, inclusivity, humanism, and integrity,' said Nurhartanto in his remarks.“Cerdas Mandiri Dan Berkarakter akan dimiliki oleh setiap mahasiswi di Asrama ini dengan cara yang menyenangkan sehingga mahasiswi akan siap menghadapi segala situasi apapun dimana mereka berada.
